Google Maps Street View captures footage from all around the world, including the weird and wonderful.
In the footage, a blonde woman walks past the Chichen Itza ancient Mayan ruins in Mexico.
From the knees up, the woman looks like just another tourist.
She is wearing a short white dress which exposes her legs and arms.
Her long blonde hair flows down her back as she walks around looking at the ruins.
However, something is very bizarre when you look towards the bottom of the picture.
The woman’s legs are bent at a strange angle, forming a V-shape.
They appear to stick out backwards in a way normal legs could never do.
So what is going on? The image has gone viral, with Reddit users discussing what it might be.
One person speculated the woman might be an alien, just like in science-fiction films.
They wrote: “It’s not a glitch, it’s one of those aliens from ‘The Arrival’.”
However, the person who posted the thread seemed to have found a more practical explanation.
They wrote in the thread title: “I wonder if it’s some type of glitch”.
This wouldn’t be the first time a Google Maps glitch has left users scratching their heads.
Earlier this year, a woman wearing a bikini was captured in an odd position.
Spotted on Playa de Carmen in Mexico are three beach-goers, clad in their swimming outfits.
Two men can be seen in their swimming trunks as they are followed by a woman in a bright blue bikini.
They are walking along the coast in the sun when they turn to face the Google Camera.
She appears to be missing the top part of her head including her eyes. Instead, her hair is attached to where her nose should be and just has a mouth and chin.
While a rather creepy image, it is nothing to do with the woman herself and is instead a glitch with the camera.
