Good Morning Britain viewers slam ‘AWKWARD' Boris Johnson interview: 'So embarrassing'

The 39-year-old presenter was seen at numerous points in the interview calling for the Conservative hopeful to answer her questions.

At one point, Singh was heard telling Johnson to “listen”, repeatedly saying his name in an attempt to move the debate along and GMB viewers were less than impressed with her interviewing tactic, with them taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One posted: “OMG Ranvir Singh is so embarrassing. Continually interrupting Boris whenever she doesn’t like his answer, and telling him to ‘listen’ #GMB.”

Another added: “Not too bad at reading the news but a shocking interviewer… What’s that knock knock joke about interrupting!!!!!”

“If your gonna ask Boris a question then let him answer before making a mockery of the interview (sic)” a third then tweeted.

A fourth added: “Thought that was handled unprofessional and childish there.. Boris answered the best way possible (sic)”

Despite the criticism, many praised Singh, taking to social media to share their love of the presenter.

One viewer commented: “Ranvir should present GMB every morning. She is a fantastic presenter. Eamonn brings his charm too.”

A second added: “You three have brightened my morning! @SeanFletcherTV @EamonnHolmes.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
