The 71-year-old joined the ITV programme to spill all to Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on his new autobiography.
It’s been 15 years since John was a Saturday night favourite alongside Jim Davidson on Big Break, and today he explained how the hit BBC show saved his life.
John opened up about his history with gambling, minutes after Labour MP Tom Watson admitted on Good Morning Britain that his party’s 2005 Gambling Act failed the nation.
However, viewers were stunned by John’s appearance and dashed straight to Twitter to pay their compliments.
