Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Daenerys Targaryen delivered SHOCK blow

Game of Thrones fans are an eagle-eyed bunch and it seems they’ve spotted something pretty big.

Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) has long called herself the the Mother of Dragons (among many other titles).

But in the upcoming series, she may have to change that.

According to one Reddit user, the creatures she owns are not actually dragons.

The fan – 4h0y1m4p1r4t3 – wrote in a blog post how dragons have four legs and a set of wings.

Daenerys’ children only have two legs, meaning they are actually categorised as “wyverns”.

Although this development won’t really change anything, the Mother of Dragons may want to switch up her titles.

This comes after other fans may have exposed a Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) death secret.

The villain was finally murdered in season seven following a reign of manipulation throughout Westeros.

As his end came to light, it seemed he was trying to pit Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) against her sister, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

But it seems Sansa may have been completely oblivious to this fact entirely.

Vanity Fair recently shed some light on his downfall through the use of some script notes.

The publication notes how Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) was at the centre of it all, as her protective behaviour caused a rift between Sansa and Arya.

However, when Arya removed her mask and killed Littlefinger, the Starks ere closer than ever.

But when Brienne and Arya spoke in the courtyard, Sansa was immediately jealous, fearing her sister would steal her knight.

The script read: “Sansa is not happy about it.

“This disturbs Sansa; the woman she thought was her dedicated protector is actually a time share.”

At the time it was touch-and-go whether the sisters would team up to defeat Littlefinger.

Thankfully, the siblings remained close – but will that change for the final season?

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
