Game of Thrones: Is THIS why Cersei Lannister and Bronn aren't seen together?

In last weekend’s season seven finale, viewers of the HBO hit series saw Bronn (played by Jerome Flynn) lead the Lannister’s enemies into the Dragon Pit to negotiate a truce with Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

But before the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms entered the courtyard, the King Slayer’s right-hand-man made a swift exit and told Podrick (Daniel Portman) to go for a drink with him.

The scene saw fans flock to Twitter to speculate the reason behind Bronn’s exit as the knight is always by Jaime Lannister’s (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) side.

Many believe the answer is due to a brief relationship the actors had long before the show began back in 2002.

One person wrote on social media: “Just realised that Bronn & Pod left the scene to go take a drink before Cersei arrived cos Lena Headey & Jerome Flynn refuse to film together.”

“I still find it funny Bronn and Podrick had to ‘go for a drink’ because Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn can’t be around each other,” said another fan.

A third added: “Couldn’t help but laugh at the excuse the show made just to keep Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey from sharing a scene in #GameOfThrones tonight.”

According to The Telegraph in 2014, a Game of Throne’s crew member claimed Jerome and Lena weren’t on “speaking terms” after their alleged split.

The source told the publication: ”Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms anymore and they are never in the same room at the same time.

”It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs.”

The only time the two actor’s have ever been in the same scene was in season three when Cersei walked past Bronn but they never exchanged any words.

Game of Thrones season 7 catch-up is available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.
