Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack LEAK: Release date part of new Fortnite update?

Battle Royale fans are waiting for Prime Pack 3 to be released as part of the deal between Twitch and Epic Games.

So far nothing has surfaced officially, although players are expecting something during Fortnite Season 5.

Some leaks in the past have put the release of the new Twitch Prime Pack during August. However, nothing has appeared as of yet.

Several skins and outfits have been linked to the upcoming release, one of which recently included a new glider.

A “Modern Military Red” glider has been found in the Fortnite game files, which some are linking to the next Prime launch.

This new design currently has a “TBD” title, suggesting it’s for something that Epic Games are hoping to keep a secret.

This new addition to the game was spotted over the weekend, meaning it could be part of the next Fortnite update.

Epic Games have yet to announce when the next big games patch will be replaced, although many expect something to appear later today.

This usually means downtime and a warning from Epic Games beforehand about the need to update Fortnite Battle Royale.

Nothing has been shared so far, so it’s hard to gauge when the next update will drop.

We do know that Fortnite content update is in the works for this week, as Epic Games has already shared early patch notes for Save the World.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack will be announced alongside the new update as well.

Fortnite fans have found what the 5.2 content update is likely to include thanks to early patch notes.

Recently Fortnite Battle Royale fans are being teased about a new weapon that is “coming soon” to the hit online game.

That weapon is the heavy sniper which looks set to be added with the Fortnite 5.2 content update.

The teaser description for the heavy sniper can be found in the “new updates” screen when Fortnite Battle Royale players first log in.

It says: “New Epic and Legendary sniper rifle capable of dealing high damage to structures.”

And as the next Fortnite update will be focused around content, there’s a chance we could see a few other items thrown in too.

A new LTM may also make its debut this week, following the patch process on PS4, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, Mac and Mobile.

There’s a chance that Epic Games will look to debut a new Showdown mode for testing, something which is being used alongside the Summer Skirmish eSports event.

“Showdown players have really been able to make a name for themselves through the Summer Skirmish,” a recent message from Epic Games reads.

“One in particular who has quickly risen to the top is NotVivid. He placed 19th and 155th in the two Solo Showdowns, but impressed with consistent performance and high placings during Summer Skirmish.

“He has bookended the Friday Skirmishes so far, with victories in both Week 1 and Week 4. In Week 1, NotVivid and his duo partner were able to fight through the masses to remain on top, and in Week 4 pulled off two clutch victories from behind to steal away the top spot.

“Atlantis Mitr0 continued to show stellar consistency by topping Saturday Summer Skirmish group in Week 3.

“The overall winner of the Blitz Showdown LTM and earned the highest score across all regions – nearly 50 points ahead of the next closest finisher.

“Since battling his way into the Skirmish, Mitr0 has now finished 13th and 1st in his two entrances, with strong individual performances both times.”
