Fortnite Battle Royale season 3 is coming to an end on PS4, Xbox One, PC and iOS.
The official season 3 end date is April 30, although there’s a good chance it could be extended.
Fortnite Season 2 was originally scheduled to end on February 20, but was extended until February 21. This was followed by the Season 3 launch on February 22.
There’s a good chance Epic Games will follow suit and extend the season by a day or two, which would give players another chance to unlock more Battle Pass items.
It would also make sense for Epic to launch Season 4 on Thursday (May 3), which is when new Battle Pass challenges go live.
One thing we do know for sure is that Fortnite Battle Royale Season 4 will have a superhero theme.
The first official Season 4 was revealed by Epic Games last week.
The company tweeted an image of a superhero (or villain) with the tagline: “Battle. Adapt. Win.” Epic also said that Fortnite season 4 is “coming soon”.
The image also hinted at an imminent comet strike, which was originally thought to be heading to Tilted Towers.
However, the latest rumours suggest that the comet will smash Dusty Depot.
Epic’s Billy Bramer revealed more details about Fortnite season 4 in a recent video on Twitter.
And while Bramer was talking specifically about Save the World, Bramer confirmed that Season 4 would definitely launch this week.
“We’ve got some great new stuff coming in patch 4.0,” he said.
“Brand new event, military weapon set, shadow ops heroes including a soldier with a brand new ability to add to their arsenal.
“We can’t wait for you to check it out next week.”
