Princess Sofia has been pictured at Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden’s 40th birthday celebrations in Stockholm this morning.
The stunning brunette, 32, wore a lovely pink floral dress with black floral embroidery.
She paired the look with a stunning fascinator and tied her hair up.
Princess Sofia attended the event with her husband Prince Carl and son Prince Alexander. Prior to her marriage, Sofia was a glamour model and reality television contestant.
The former reality TV star married Carl Philip in 2015 and they’ve expanded their family quickly in those two years. Today’s celebrations in Stockholm end with the Crown Princess Family being escorted from the Royal Palace to the Royal Stables in a horse drawn carriage.
The huge royal gathering comes Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden opened up about her mental health in an interview ahead of her 40th birthday.
Princess Victoria has a well documented battle with anorexia after the palace announced her condition when she was 20 after photographs appeared of the royal looking much thinner.
But Princess Victoria, who is now a mother of two, says although she no longer struggles with anorexia, she continues to live with anxiety problems.
In an interview with Swedish station SVT she said: “The performance anxiety I had is still there.
“I’ve been given different kinds of tools and learned how to manage it.”
The future queen said the passage of time has eased the problem as she dismissed her high-profile role has contributed to her anxiety.
