Tyrese has shared a video on Instagram of Johnson slamming his album Black Rose, which he himself calls “one of the greatest R&B Soul Albums of all time”.
The Rock clearly disagrees, saying on camera: “I’ve got to say in all honesty, it’s the biggest piece of dog-s**t that I’ve ever heard.
“Everyone’s laughing by the way, but it’s true! Everyone heard it. Yeah, big piece of dog s**t.
“It shouldn’t be called ‘Black Rose’, it should be called ‘Big piece of black dog-shit.’”
He added: “I never wanna hear it again and Im never gonna fucking forgive him for wasting my time.
That is time I will never get back, it’s like there’s dog s**t in my ear. Mother-f**ker.”
Captioning the video, which may have been filmed around the time Tyrese’s album was released in 2015, the musician wrote: “Haters come in many forms…… In my Kanye voice #BlackRose is one of the greatest R&B Soul Albums of all time my single SHAME was #1 on Billboard for 16 weeks my album came in #1 on the TOP 200!!!
“Real R&B music lovers know….. This album is in a league of its own #BlackRose.”
The pair have been trading barbs for a while now, with Tyrese claiming that the ninth Fast and Furious film is being delayed because of Johnson’s “selfishness”.
The movie has been pushed back to April 2020.
