When Kim (played by Claire King) first returned to the Yorkshire Dales back in October, her welcome home party was explosive to say the least.
Having just been released from prison, the Emmerdale icon’s true connection to butler Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) was exposed, and Kim’s attempts at a fabulous masquerade ball at Home Farm only intensified her feuds with various families in the village.
After tearing apart Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and sending poisonous words in the direction of other Dingle locals, Faith (Sally Dexter) decided she’d had enough.
At first fans were puzzled when Kim came tumbling over the balcony in a scream of fear, but it soon became clear Faith was the one who had pushed her on the ITV soap.
The Dingle family matriarch later came clean to some of her family – including Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) who was jilted at the altar by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).
But now Kim has finally returned to the ITV soap once more, actress Sally has teased things will begin to pick back up where they left off.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the Faith star shed light on what’s to come in the gripping new storyline with Emmerdale’s favourite bad girl.
She shared: “Claire King has got a cracking sense of humour, she’s really naughty.
“I really look forward to maybe her and Faith having some good old spars.”
“Some sparks can fly!” the star declared with a giggle.
In terms of Kim’s mindset now though, the character is determined to find her long-lost son James, but other than that she has been keeping her cards close to her chest so far.
Sally hinted: “Maybe she’ll be a little more subdued when she’s been pushed over a balcony, who knows.
“I doubt it, doubt it very much,” the star finished with a laugh.
Following the reveal Joe is still alive, fans have been wondering exactly how the rest of the villagers are going to find out the truth, and if actor Ned is ever going to return.
As it stands, the actor – who also starred on BBC soap EastEnders – has moved to Los Angeles to try and make his name in Hollywood.
But with the fallout of his disappearance still very much in play in the Dales, the soap will undoubtedly reveal the truth soon.
For one thing, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and his daughter Debbie have been irreconcilable after she discovered he’d accidentally “killed” her ex-fiance.
Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) has also been struggling to move on after developing a strong bond with his half-brother.
If Graham does the decent thing and tells the Dingles the truth, will Debbie simply forgive and forget her father’s actions? Or are the father-daughter duo done for good?
