While Daz’s estranged brother Dan Spencer (played by Liam Fox) is still inherently suspicious of him, despite his wife Kerry Wyatt’s (Laura Norton) best efforts to rekindle the pair’s bond, the unreliable character continues to betray their trust behind the scenes on the ITV soap.
In particular, when Amelia (Daisy Campbell) discovered her uncle’s suspiciously hidden army knife, Daz managed to keep her off the track and convinced her he’d gotten rid of it.
Speaking to OK! Online, Jordan finally confessed that the truth will rock the lives of all those Daz cares about, saying: “It definitely bring a change of energy within the household, it has to.
“I really would suggest that in this moment in time, the slow build up to that point is just as important to the reveal because there’s so much openness that Daz is trying to offer up to everyone that I’m not sure that anyone will see it coming.”
The former Heartbeat actor added: “The household will look at Daz in a different way after this.”
Jordan also teased that viewers will finally understand why Daz has been so intent on keeping his knife, saying: “It begs the question of why he needs that knife, which is something that you’ll find out why.
“That knife is important to Daz and I guarantee, it’s not what anyone is thinking. It’s a lovely little moment that obviously changes people’s perceptions towards Daz. I’d be interested to see how the viewers take it.”
