EastEnders spoilers: Vincent Hubbard's money problems solved with THIS 'forgotten scene'?

EastEnder fans have watched Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood) struggle financially after handing over The Albert to Aidan Maguire (Patrick Bergin).

The father-of-one has been unable to pay off his mortgage since his deal with Walford gangster Aidan.

Fearful of what his wife may say, Vincent choose to keep it a secret from Kim Hubbard (Tameka Empson).

But he was forced to come clean to his partner after she found a repossession warning letter.

Scared of loosing his home, Vincent made the difficult decision to dip into his daughter’s savings account.

Since then, fans of the show have pointed out that Kim’s diamond ring, which Pearl hid in a DVD player, is still in the house.

However, Vincent has no clue the expensive piece of jewellery is still in his possession, as he accused Karen Taylor of stealing it at the time it went missing.

Will Vincent find the diamond ring and use it to sort out his financial issues?

Viewers have questioned the possibility of him discovering the ring, with one person tweeting: “#Eastenders Is anyone going to find that diamond ring Pearl hid in the DVD player or we are going to ignore it?”

Another added: ”Hasn’t he found Kim’s ring yet? Pearl put it in the CD player! #Eastenders.”

A third asked: ”Has Vincent or Kim found that ring that Pearl put in the DVD player yet? #EastEnders.”

A fourth penned: “Whatever happened to Pearl putting Vincent’s ring in the DVD player when Karen was cleaning?”

Last month Richard announced he was leaving EastEnders after serving four years on the long-running BBC programme.

Revealing his contract had not been renewed, he said: “There was no bad vibe between me and EastEnders [about] leaving.

“It just so happened that I came to the end of my contract and they weren’t going to renew it.”

In an interview with MC Harvey from So Solid Crew, he added: “When I came into EastEnders… I said if I get more than one year, I reckon I’m going to do three years… EastEnders is its [own] movie, I’m a character within it…

“My character within that movie had to leave.”

Richard, who joined the soap back in February 2015, will leave EastEnders this spring.

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
