Bex (played by Jasmine Armfield) has been studying hard for her exams but has been seen struggling with the demands of revision on the BBC soap.
But at an event for prospective students at Oxford University, Bex met another student studying for her A Levels, Ellie (Barbara Smith).
She hinted to Bex that she had managed to focus on revision with the help of ADHD medication which led Bex to order some over the internet.
But in upcoming scenes on EastEnders, Kush (Davood Ghadami) will find out what Bex has been up to – and he of course is mortified.
The drugs fall out of her bag while she’s in front of Kush and Bex panics.
She tells him she’s going to sell the drugs to make cash so Kush doesn’t know she’s intending on using them herself.
Kush pleads with her over the dangers but Bex begs him to keep it a secret.
But with his best friend Martin (James Bye) being Bex’s dad, can he keep quiet?
Later on Kush finds himself in the Queen Vic where he buys Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) a drink and asks her for some advice on the situation.
If it does remain a secret between Kush and Bex, will it bring them closer?
It comes as Bex told Kush she had feelings for him last month and even tried to kiss him.
While Kush gently turned her down, the pair have shared a few moments since.
However, Bex may have a love rival in the form of Kat who was seen flirting outrageously with Kush earlier this week in the programme.
Mo Harris (Laila Morse) now lives with Kush in his flat and so the Slaters went round to visit.
While Kush was in his bedroom, Kat lingered in the doorway and made some suggestive remarks.
If a romance is afoot for the pair of them, Bex may be driven mad with jealousy.
Although, many fans were quick to support the idea of a romance between the two of them.
One tweeted: “#EastEnders Kat n kush! All the way!”
“Looks like it isn’t only just bex that has a crush on kush actually wouldn’t Mind seeing Kat with kush #EastEnders,” another wrote.
While a third added: “I want Kat & Kush together #EastEnders xx.”
