Things were going well for Denise as she and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) had planned a romantic New Year’s Eve getaway.
But her dreams will quickly be shattered when she finds out his family will be tagging along too, and in the foreseeable future.
Kush plans to take in Carmel (Bonnie Langford) and Shaki Kazemi (Shaheen Jafargholi) after Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatra) told them he wants his home back.
Although, he is anxious to tell Denise that he has invited this family to live with them he eventually finds the coverage to.
However, when he returns home to break the bad news to Denise, she is already seen waiting for him.
Meanwhile, the Branning family will be having an explosive Christmas of their own as Max’s (Jake Wood) scheming continues to tear the family apart.
For months problems have been piling up, mainly due to Max’s secret plan to take over Albert Square.
Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren Branning, let slip that there will be an unprecedented disaster for the family, saying: “It doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s catastrophic, the worst one yet.
“We don’t even get to sit down for dinner this year. The episodes are wicked,” she told Radio Times.
