EastEnders spoilers: Carmel Kazemi to expose Kush's cheating secret to Denise Fox?

Viewers have seen Kush (played by Davood Ghadami) struggling lately as he’s become very withdrawn and taken to drinking heavily on BBC soap EastEnders.

The problem reached new heights in Tuesday’s episode at Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) restaurant opening where it looked as though he was about to sleep with Talia, a new worker at the eatery.

Last night’s instalment confirmed the pair had slept together as Kush woke up in bed next to the newcomer having cheated on girlfriend Denise (Diane Parish).

Carmel Kazemi (Bonnie Langford) saw the waitress slipping out of Kush’s room and suspected her son had been up to no good.

Kush tried to play it off like the girl had been a stranger in distress who needed somewhere to sleep for the night, but it was clear Carmel didn’t buy the lie.

In his intoxicated state the night before, Kush had also revealed Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) pregnancy secret and so he set about apologising to her in yesterday’s episode.

After that, he sought advice from Martin Fowler (James Bye) about his infidelity and what he should do now.

Kush told his friend he wanted to come clean to Denise, but Martin subtly urged him against it.

Knowing what it’s like to be cheated on, Martin wasn’t so sure that it would be a wise move to tell Denise.

But it was clear the guilt was overwhelming Kush as he went to spill the secret to Denise, however he was stopped when he saw Carmel.

It’s clear Carmel is concerned for her son’s wellbeing, but could she tell Denise the truth as tensions mount in tonight’s episode?

Meanwhile, plenty of viewers aren’t happy with what Kush has done to Denise.

“Noooo Kush, How could you cheat on Denise,” one fan lamented on Twitter.

A second added.“Can’t believe kush cheated on Denise #eastenders.”

“Oh Kush what have you done? #Eastenders,” a third questioned.

However, his unusual behaviour has come about as a result of Shakil Kazemi’s (Shaheen Jafargholi) death.

Kush didn’t break down so much at first as he was there to support their mother after their tragic loss.

But now the roles have reversed for the pair as Kush is the one struggling to cope.

Kush star Davood revealed to Express.co.uk earlier this year that this change would be coming.

He said: “I think his role has been trying to support his mum and I think that’s something he wants to do naturally but it’s also something for him, to find his leafletting equivalent that he can keep his eye on, that can make him focus away from the tragedy of what’s happened.

“But like I say, there’s no way someone could go through this and not have it touch pretty much everything they do.

“Whether you think about it every minute, every hour, you’re thinking about it everyday. Kush has been through a lot of tragedy in his life anyway and it just seems to get closer and closer to home for him.

“Again, it’s not something that he’s going to be able to lock away.”

EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
