
Stacey has banned her child’s distraught grandmother from any visits, despite various attempts from Carmel to build bridges.
However, the market trader will find an unlikely boost of support from none other than Albert Square’s bad egg Max, who swoops in with some words of advice.
After a swift drink in The Queen Vic, Max will try to turn Stacey around, but will Carmel ever be able to cradle her grandson?

Of course, it’s likely Max has an ulterior motive behind the shock move as he continues his plot to bring down Walford over the coming months.
Max looks set to try and woo an unsuspecting Carmel, who reveals that she is going to a meeting to discuss shadowing the council planning department and, in turn, hands over her information to the wrong hands.
Carmel’s son Kush will understandably be alarmed once he spots the pair dining out together as Max’s dastardly plans start to unfold.
The Branning patriarch is currently piecing together his revenge on the entire Square after he was wrongly accused for the murder of Lucy Beale.
