EastEnders spoiler: Has Mick Carter caught CHLAMYDIA after cheating with Whitney?

After controversially cheating on Linda (played by Kellie Bright) months ago with his daughter-in-law Shona McGarty), viewers of the BBC soap believe that Mick (Danny Dyer) has got his just-desserts.

Last night, those at home saw the beloved landlord left horrified after developing a nasty rash across his body.

Whilst Mick believed it was chicken pox and was worrying about having to be quarantined from Linda and baby Ollie when they returned, EastEnders’ fans thought differently.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “#EastEnders it’s possible Mick has a different type of pox. Off to the clinic.”

Another posted: “Whitney gave Mick chlamydia I called it first #EastEnders.”

A third agreed, adding: “Mick has picked up something from Whitney #EastEnders.”

Whatever the diagnosis, it can’t be good news for Mick as his wife is set to return this evening.

In a trailer released to tease the moment, Linda is shocked to see business consultant Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) stood behind the bar in her place.

With Linda about to find out about the truth about The Queen Vic’s financial troubles, could she about to have an even bigger bombshell when she discovers Mick’s affair?

Or will Whitney’s disappearance save Mick’s infected skin just in time?

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8pm.
