Since her return to the BBC soap, Linda (played by Kellie Bright) has been harbouring a confession from everyone, including her husband Mick (Danny Dyer).
The landlady was spotted taking a call from Whitney’s (Shona McGarty) fiancé where he thanked her for her actions.
Linda added to Woody (Lee Ryan): “It’s not the best time to tell Mick, I just can’t.”
However, Shirley (Linda Henry) was listening in and quizzed Whitney about what she was thanking him for.
While Linda remaining tight-lipped, fans began to speculate on the situation, questioning how the pair even knew each other in the first place.
One wondered: “I reckon Woody is Linda’s brother she was previously unaware of #EastEnders.”
Another said: “Linda and Woody could be step brother and sister as Elaine had an affair #EastEnders.”
A third suggested: “My thoughts on Linda’s secret is something child-related. I can’t decide if she’s pregnant or something happened though #EastEnders.”
Meanwhile, others thought that Linda and Woody could be having a sordid affair behind Mick’s back.
