Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford announce This Morning shake-up: ‘Our last week’

Holly and Phillip will be back hosting the series from 1 September meaning Eamonn and Ruth will go back to their Friday slot.

Opening the show, Eamonn declare: “Good morning! We’re still chuntering on. This Morning summer with Eamonn and Ruth.”

Ruth could be seen laughing at her husband’s choice of words, giggling: “Chuntering on?”

However she continued: “Full of joy and a spring in our step. Our last week!”
