The actress, who stars as Queen Marie-Therese in the BBC drama, also appeared as prostitute Mirelle in the third season of the HBO series.
Mirelle is one of the many women who work in one of Petyr Baelish’s (played by Aiden Gillen) brothels in King’s Landing.
She was a particular favourite with Bronn (Jerome Flynn) and in one episode he is left angry when their racy rendezvous is interrupted by Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman).
While her character in Game of Thrones may have got plenty of action, it’s a very different story for her Versailles alter-ego.
Queen Marie-Thérèse is often shunned by her partner King Louis XIV (George Blagden) in favour of his mistress Madame de Montespan (Anna Brewster).
She does not appreciate being pushed to the side by her husband but has very little choice in the matter.
As a result she often feels very isolated at court, but this season the King has begun to ask her opinion when making important decisions to help her feel more included.
Elisa has also made appearances in numerous other films and television shows including Eastern Promises, Somers Town and Burnt.
