Deadpool 2 in trouble? Rumours DENIED amid 'disaster screening' claims – ‘It’s excellent’

The Marvel sequel is due later this year, and was alleged online to have been met with a poor reception by early audiences.

However this has been shot down by other sources who have claimed that the film has, in fact, tested very well.

Tweets perpetuating the rumour are from people who have not seen the film, and one that remains at time of writing says: “From my perspective, with what I’ve heard, they’ve made a HUGE, ALIEN 3 blunder with the story. But I haven’t seen it.”

Others, however, have been quick to maintain that the film has tested very well.

Initial tweets have been deleted, but one that remains at time of writing says: “From my perspective, with what I’ve heard, they’ve made a HUGE, ALIEN 3 blunder with the story. But I haven’t seen it.”

Others, however, have been quick to maintain that the film has tested very well.

Ryan Reynolds returns as the hero of the title, while Josh Brolin plays Cable.

Brolin – also appearing in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War as Thanos – recently said: “Deadpool, I know it’s going to be very fun and funny and fresh because it’s very different to the first film.

“I really enjoyed them both. I didn’t think I would, but I did.”

Deadpool 2 is out on May 16 in the UK.
