Every year thousands of dogs descend on Birmingham’s NEC to prove they are the canine crème de la crème at Crufts. The dogs have been put through their paces this year and the coveted Best in Show award will soon be awarded to one lucky pup.
Crufts began in 1891, making this year the 129th consecutive year of the ‘World’s Greatest Dog Show’.
Crufts 2020 started on Thursday, March 5 and has run for four days.
This year 26,000 pooches were expected to take part in the show, with a whopping 3,171 of them making the trip overseas for the event.
However, only one can earn their rightful place as Crufts’ 83rd Best in Show winner.
