Chelsea transfer news: PSG prepare incredible offer for Eden Hazard – EXCLUSIVE

The Belgium international’s future at Chelsea is again in doubt despite being offered a £300,000-a-week pay deal to remain in West London for the next five years.

Real Madrid have revived their interest in signing him and Italian giants Juventus have asked to be kept in touch with developments with a view to entering the bidding.

But PSG are long-term suitors of Hazard and would love to add him to their glittering array of talent in the French capital despite the implications it could have on Financial Fair Play.

Hazard only has 18 months left on his Blues contract and appears to be enjoying himself playing Maurizio Sarri this season and wants to challenge for honours.

He did however appear to tout himself for a move to Premier League champions Manchester City but a move was shot down by Pep Guardiola.

And until he puts pen to paper on a long-term agreement speculation will be rife about his future especially with his father and agent Thierry in constant contact with clubs.

Hazard helped Chelsea inflict Manchester City’s first Premier League defeat of the season yesterday, as they won 2-0 thanks to goals from N’Golo Kante and David Luiz.

And Sarri said: ”I am very happy with the win because it is not very easy to win against Manchester City or Pep Guardiola.

“I am happy with the mentality of the team in this match.

“It is difficult for us to find motivation but when we are, we are a very strong team. Today we played with a very good level of application, determination and the right level of aggressiveness.

“My players have to continue like this. We had some problems in the first 30 minutes because Eden Hazard played like a striker for the first time and in the defensive movement we weren’t perfect.

“We started well in the second half and in the end we deserved to win. I think he [Hazard] had some problems only for the last 20 minutes. He played very well and deserved to score. I am really happy with his first match in this position.

“It is difficult to play in the defensive line when it is not working. It was working well today so it is easier for the centre-backs to play a good match.”

While John Stones revealed how tough it is to come up against Hazard when he plays through the middle.

He said: ”I have played against him quite a few times over the summer and at the start of the season. Both teams tried to switch it up to try different tactics.

“As a back four, in controlling Hazard we kept them from creating a lot of chances. I don’t think the ball flicked off either of us [for the corner before the second goal]. It’s a difficult one for the referee. They are the fine margins in these games.”
