The transgender presenter then refused to accept an apology from the actress.
Amanda, 82, had referred to India as “he” for the second time which left the 51-year-old fuming.
The former Coronation Street star blamed it on an accidental slip of the tongue but India was having none of her excuses.
“I take great offence at that,” she claimed.
Later on, Amanda attempted to make amends by approaching India in the garden with an apology.
However, India clearly had no interest in hearing one as she remained stone-faced.
“If you don’t want to take the apology then that is entirely up to you,” Amanda stated.
“I’m 82 and I made a mistake,” she explained.
As India refused to budge or engage in a reconciliation, the octogenarian returned inside.
India then began to mutter under her breath as Amanda walked away.
“You’re right Amanda. Silly me, taking offence,” she said, “Apology not accepted.”
