Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki jokes he’s unfollowed Kaley Cuoco after Instagram clip

The cast of comedy hit The Big Bang Theory have kept their sense of humour during the coronavirus pandemic after the sitcom came to an end in 2019. A recent Instagram video from Kaley Cuoco and husband Karl Cook led to an unexpected reunion with her CBS co-star Johnny Galecki.

A cute and insightful Instagram video from Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook received a sarcastic comment from her former Big Bang co-star Johnny Galecki over the weekend.

The pair recently took to social media for a ‘walk and talk’ video explaining more about their shared love of showjumping and their experiences as a couple.

Cuoco captioned the post: “A cup of walking and taking! Get it? Horse showing with your significant other. Do’s and don’ts!”

Before quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic, Cuoco and professional equestrian Karl Cook lived separately and train with separate showjumping teams.

Fans loved watching their dynamic play out on camera, and one half of CBS’s iconic sitcom couple seemed particularly taken by Penny’s real life partner.

Leonard Hofstadter Johnny Galecki commented: “I watched almost half of this. The result is that I am Unfollowing you and now Following @mrtankcook [Karl Cook].”

His comment sparked an uproarious reaction from Big Bang fans, including one who said: “Love that all of you are still best of friends. Please stay safe and healthy from covid Johnny.”

Cuoco and Galecki privately dated for around two years after the show first started back in 2007, and have remained on good terms since separating.

She also met her current husband through her second passion, showjumping, and used her Instagram platform to detail how she balances her career and personal life.

Cuoco said: “Even though we go to the same shows a lot of the time and we stable next to each other – and now it’s been many years, our teams know each other. But, there’s no cross-cantering.”

Cuoco’s puns caused Cook to put his head in his hands, and at one point he sighed: “Your analogies, honey…”

The equestrian pro then explained: “A lot of people they ask the question, ‘what’s it like showing together? It must be hard’.”

“A lot of people have this assumption that it is hard. I don’t think it’s hard; does that mean it was always easy? We figured out that it works for us.”

Following the new post, another fan commented: “Omg y’all are such an awesome couple! Cross cantering, I love it!”

Although The Big Bang Theory has been off screens for well over a year, the cast remain squarely in the public eye and Kaley Cuoco has proven she’s still a star to watch out for.

The Big Bang Theory is available to watch on Netflix.
