BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2017: Mo Farah’s son REMOVED after on-air tantrum

The Olympic champion was nominated for the prestigious award after announcing his retirement from long-distance running earlier this year.

Mo now resides across the pond with his wife Tania and their three children.

Speaking live from London, Mo was joined by his eldest daughter Rihanna and son Hussein, though he soon lived to regret dragging his youngest a long for a televised interview in front of millions.

After wriggling an ranting though his father’s chat with Gabby Logan, the host of the night decided enough was enough.

But after asking Rihanna to remove Hussein from the equation, Mo’s interview was packed with further chaos as his microphone dropped to his lap.

What’s more, after he was crowned champion, his video link shut down before he could make a winner’s speech.

“I think Hussein pulled the plug,” Clare Balding chuckled.

Regardless, viewers were in hysterics, with one posting: “Lol Mo Farah’s child has had enough,”

“Mo Farah’s lad giving no shits about #SPOTY17,” teased another, while a third cried: “Mo Farah and his kids have me in stitches.”

Sports Personality of the Year is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
