BBC News: ‘I don’t like it’ Naga Munchetty BERATES Charlie Stayt over Christmas jibe

BBC Breakfast presenters, Naga Munchetty, 43, and Charlie Stayt, 56, were back hosting the news programme together again this morning.

Everything was going swimmingly until the show had just aired a segment on mead.

Apparently, more people are drinking mead, and it seemed to cause a bit of a divide between Naga and Charlie.

“So, I’ve heard nothing bad there,” admitted Naga after the programme’s segment on the increased popularity of mead.

“Nothing bad!” exclaimed Charlie in shock.

“All of those things, just the opposite, I’m thinking, ‘I really don’t like really sweet drinks’.

“I don’t like it at all.”

Naga then said: “Ice cream.”

“Cough medicine,” interjected Charlie.

“I like cough medicine, usually,” admitted Naga.

Charlie then sighed in disbelief at his co-host’s love of sweet drinks and cough medicine.

“That’s the whole idea of it, isn’t it?” Naga continued.

“It makes you feel better when you’ve got a cough.”

“That’s what you get for Christmas this year,” joked Charlie.

Naga then laughed and said: “Generous to a fault.”
