Andrea McLean SNUBBED on Loose Women in very awkward disaster: 'We're on a live TV show'

While discussing a recent trial where a woman burned her husband after an argument, the ITV presenter asked her colleagues if they agreed with the judge’s decision that the defendant’s actions were “understandable but not justifiable”.

However, as she turned to Nadia Sawalha, it appeared that she wasn’t paying attention.

The 52-year-old panellist said: “I’m so sorry, I wasn’t actually listening in that moment Andrea.

“I don’t know what to do,” she joked while holding her head in her hand.

Andrea, 48, and the entire Loose Women studio erupted in laughter, as the former joked: “We are on a live TV show!”

Nadia defended: “I was having trouble with my earpiece and I was trying to tell the director. I’m so sorry!”

Ever the professionals, the four-piece composed themselves and continued with the sensitive topic.

It wasn’t the only blunder to hit the Loose Women though, as the show accidentally put a naked man on screen.

While introducing Sheila Reid, who plays Madge Harvey in Benidorm, a clip of the hit comedy was shown.

However, it didn’t quite get edited correctly as the end of the short clip contained a fully naked body with genitalia included.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm.
