‘Absolute monster’ claims another victim

MIXED martial arts fans, remember the name Aaron Pico because he’s going to be a destroyer of worlds for years to come.

The 22-year-old is being touted as the sport’s next big thing and despite an upset loss on his debut, the young star has rebounded in emphatic fashion.

Over the past year he has fought four times and won all four in emphatic knockout fashion. On Sunday he made it four from four, once again proving he has wrecking balls instead of hands.

Still raw in terms of time spent in the Octagon, Pico hasn’t been overwhelmed despite taking on far more advanced fighters.

His latest opponent was former Bellator title contender Leandro Higo who managed to land a few meaningful blows, but never looked like walking away victorious.

Instead it was Pico who took control with his remarkable speed and punching power which eventually sent Higo crumpling to the canvas.

A little over three minutes into the contest and the referee was forced to wave off the fight and hand Pico his fourth MMA win.

After the fight the supremely talented star called out Patricio Putbull, shouting “your time is coming” to the current Bellator featherweight champion.

He didn’t hold back when speaking after the fight either as he proclaimed he’ll be a force to be reckoned with into the future/

“I’ll tell you one thing, three or four years from now, there will be no one who touches me in this cage,” Pico (4-1) said.

“I’ve been saying before the fight he’s never fought a guy on my level a guy who pushes the pace, for an hour I can go however long it can go.”

Fans watching on were in awe of the decimation job laid down by Pico, but many were also highly critical of the referee who should have stopped the fight much earlier.
