The law wants to bring you down as you ride a train across the sunset-stained landscapes of the old west. Savor this striking pixel view for as long as you can, as the forces of order are limitless, and all you can do is thump them on the head for as long as you can in Train Bandit, a goofy arcade game.

You have two sides of the train to watch in Train Bandit, with green lawmen clambering up either side. Once they’re within range to shoot you with some rather overpowered weaponry, you need to smack them off with a quick press of a key. Doing it with the right timing and you knock the offending lawman off the moving train, buying yourself another moment to take in the orange-tinted sky. Screw up, and you’ll be taken down, your blood staining the desert sand as you wonder about what your family will think when they get the news.

Train Bandit will reward quick reactions with new bandits to play with, and, you know, continuing to play the game and keeping your pa from having to cover his face with his hat to hide the lone tear that trickles down his weatherbeaten face when he gets word of his son’s death at the hands of the law.

You don’t want to disappoint the old man yet again, do you?

Train Bandit is available for $ 0.99 on Steam, Xbox One, and iOS. For more information on the game anbd developer Rusty Moyher, you can head to their site or follow them on YouTube and Twitter.
