Sarah Ferguson, 58, was married to Prince Andrew, Duke of York, from 1986 to 1996, and the couple have two children together, Princess Beatrice of York and Princess Eugenie of York.

Since the coupes’ divorce Sarah has had various occupations, including a decade long endorsement with Weight Watchers.

While she has lived in a residence in Verbier, Switzerland, where she and the Duke of York have owned a chalet since 2015, the Duchess also rents an apartment in Eaton Square, London.

Homes at the central London address have attracted rich and famous residents since the area was developed in the 1820s – including former Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho and former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

The houses in Eaton Square are large, predominantly three-bay-wide buildings, joined in regular terraces in a classical style, with four or five main storeys, plus attic and basement and a mews house behind.
