Canada's men's team was eliminated Tuesday with an 18-16 loss to Netherlands in the quarter-finals.

The Canadians, who came into the tournament ranked 14th in the world, went a perfect 4-0 in pool play, defeating Mongolia, the host Philippines, Russia and Brazil to win Pool C.

Team Canada is based in Saskatoon and features Michael Linklater, Michael Lieffers, Jermaine Bucknor and Steve Sir.

Canada does not have an entry in the women's 3-on-3 World Cup tournament, which is being played alongside the men's event in Manila.

3-on-3 basketball will make its Olympic debut in 2020 in Tokyo.
