A former cruise employee has revealed jaw-dropping footage of waves slamming a Carnival ship in the midst of wild weather.
Taken from the bridge camera, the video gave a view of the very front of the cruise ship as it faced the open ocean.
The ship could be seen rising up over the extremely choppy waters, before diving down again.
On its way down the vessel was slammed by a giant wave, which completely submerged the bow.
According to Cruise Law News, the footage was captured in 2011 on the Carnival Pride.
It has gone viral since it was shared online, with over 92,000 views on YouTube.
The cruise ship encountered a storm when it crossed the Atlantic, battling mega swells and rough waters.
