There is always huge interest surrounding how much judges are paid for their work on high profile competition shows.

The likes of The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and of course, The Voice draw in huge stars to their respective judging panels and with such stellar careers behind them, they are likely offered a hefty fee.

This year’s judges are Tom Jones,, Jennifer Hudson and Olly Murs.

There is no indication of exactly how much The Voice judges are paid each but we do know how much ITV is prepared to spend on their stars.

Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is also said to have been paid £4 million for his part.

On X Factor 2018, it was reported that judges Robbie Williams and Ayda Field pocketed £10 million each for the series.

While The Voice salaries are unconfirmed, it is thought to be similar to those of the X Factor.

The last confirmed salary we have for on The Voice is £600,000.

This payout was revealed as part of the BBC’s yearly release of its salaries in 2016.

The BBC paid £600,000 when they owned The Voice, but it is rumoured the Black Eyed Peas star makes more now the singing competition is on ITV.

This worked out as over £40,000 an episode for the judge, who has appeared on the show since 2012.

What will happen in The Voice UK tonight?

Tonight’s The Voice UK episode sees the coaches enter into the second stage of the competition – Battles.

With the Blind Auditions over the contestants will have a chance to sing again.

The Battles begin as the coaches will start to trim down their teams.

In this stage, each round sees two acts from the same team go head-to-head performing a duet and the relevant coach can only send one of there acts through.

However, the other coaches then have the opportunity to steal anyone they reject – but they each are only allowed one “steal”.
