THE UPSIDE REVIEWS: WHAT ARE CRITICS SAYING ABOUT THE UPSIDE?

Richard Roeper from the Chicago Sun-Times

“The filmmakers occasionally remind us the animated adventures are reflecting the real-world sibling dynamic, but they never get too heavy-handed with the life-lesson messaging.”

Lindsey Bahr from the Associated Press

“The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is pretty darn good, but also you can’t help shake the feeling that it’s just never going to live up to the exciting newness of the first.”

Peter Bradshaw from the Guardian

“The second Lego Movie is even better than the original: a sophisticated new adventure that gives us a new look at how the universality of the Lego universe was more gendered than we thought.”

Jesse Hassenger from AV Club

“The Lego Movie 2 is lovable.”

A DOG’S WAY HOME REVIEWS: WHAT DO CRITICS SAY ABOUT A DOG’S WAY HOME?

STAN AND OLLIE REVIEWS: WHAT DO CRITICS SAY ABOUT THE COMEDY?

“Fuelled by adrenaline, sugar and plastic, The Lego Movie’s Second Part does not entirely reinvent the brick from the First Part.

“But when the formula is this clever and fun, should we even care?”

Molly Freeman from Screen Rant

“The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part is another imaginative adventure, building off the first film in inventive ways, and a blast for viewers of any age.”
