PS Plus April 2018 COUNTDOWN: Final chance arrives to download Bloodborne

PlayStation Plus subscribers have until April 3 to grab all the games from March that they haven’t already downloaded.

Sony will soon be refreshing their PlayStation Store, meaning that the new PS Plus April 2018 will be arriving soon.

They will replace the likes of Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank, as well as other titles playable on PS3 and PS Vita.

This includes:

  • Bloodborne (PS4)
  • Ratchet and Clank (PS4)
  • Legend of Kay Anniversary (PS3)
  • Mighty No. 9 (PS3 and PS4)
  • Claire: Extended Cut (PS Vita and PS4)
  • Bombing Busters (PS Vita and PS4)

After April 3, the likes of Bloodborne will return to their original pricing so fans will want to head over to the PlayStation Store and get it, if they haven’t already done so.

They will be replaced around midday by new free PS4 games including Trackmania Turbo and Mad Max.

That’s on top of In Space We Brawl and Toy Home for PS3, and 99 VIDAS and Q*Bert Rebooted for Vita.

While not quite on the levels of March’s exclusive line up of Bloodborne and Rachet & Clank, Sony are still looking toward the AAA market with their latest selection.

“Honestly speaking, it’s amazing that George Miller’s influential Mad Max series didn’t find a footing in the gaming world sooner,” the PS Blog reads.

“Vast open wastelands, outlaw bandits, over-the-top action and petrol-guzzling battle cars… it’s a perfect fit.

“Happily, in 2015, it actually happened and the results are… well, everything you’d expect.

“Gritty protagonist Max – the ‘Road Warrior’ – embarks upon a journey through a lawless post-apocalyptic world in search of supplies, solace and an even sweeter ride.”

No new PS VR games were announced to be available as free downloads in April, with no mention of any special tie-in deals for PS Plus customers either.

It should be noted that the content you have downloaded as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription at no charge is only accessible as long as you are an active subscriber.

The exceptions are free themes and avatars, which you will continue to have access to, even if you are no longer a subscriber.

Anything you have purchased (even if you purchased it at a discount) will remain available to you even if your subscription ends.

Also, different countries have different rights, release schedules and, have different things available in their PlayStation Store for this reason.

So this is why you may hear about different games being available in Asia, Europe and North America, when it comes to some PS Plus announcements.
