Premier League table predicted: Mark Lawrenson backed Liverpool to go unbeaten all season

In his weekly column, the BBC pundit pits his wits against a guest celebrity to try and call the outcome of each fixture – with surprisingly accurate results.

The former defender is usually pretty nailed on with his predicted scores, but the 59-year-old has been rather biased when it comes to the Reds this season.

Elsewhere Lawrenson called two of the relegated teams correctly, but wildly underestimated Southampton and has given Sunderland far too much credit.
