The 73-year-old, who was joined by his Starsky & Hutch co-stars David Soul and Antonio Fargas, pounced on the daytime TV beauty which appeared to make Phillip, 54, a little uncomfortable.
Introducing the interview, Holly, 36, was bowled over in giggles while Phillip chipped in: “That is Paul Michael Glaser, who is flirting with Holly like I’ve never seen before.”
Not that Paul seemed to mind, as he boldly interrupted: “You only live once.”
And he seized the opportunity to cosy up to the mother-of-three as he leapt onto her sofa and began patting her leg.
The presenters were chatting to the actor about his role in Stan Lee’s Lucky Man as DI Harry Clayton when he asked if they could pause for a moment.
He apologised as he then reached into his pocket and took out his phone, noting: “Sorry, someone is calling me.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
