A new Vauxhall Insignia model variant has been revealed in the UK.
This new car is set to sit at the top of the range and has been fitted with a more powerful engine.
It gains a 1.6-litre Direct Injection Turbo with Gasoline Particulate Filter. The four-cylinder engine produces 200PS and develops 280Nm of torque.
Vauxhall is offering the car in Grand Sport and Sports Tourer body styles and in Grand Sport guise to can achieve a top speed of 146mph and go from 0-60mph in 7.2 seconds.
Fuel economy for this model variant is rated at 44.8mpg and it produced 146g/km of CO2 emissions.
The car meets the new strict Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard and the Gasoline Particulate Filter fitted helps filter out harmful emissions from the engine and exhaust.
It comes with a number of flagship features such as adaptive cruise control, IntelliLux LED matrix headlights and ergonomic seats.
Inside the car, the infotainment setup can be updated to the Multimedia and Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment systems.
The display at the centre of the dashboard can be specified up to eight-inches in size and drivers can also benefice from a Driver Information Custer.
It can also be specified in conjunction with an optional head-up display in combination with the Multimedia Navi Pro system.
Prices for the car start from £25,610 on-the-road for the Insignia Grand Sport SRi VX-Line Nav with the new 1.6-litre Direct Injection Turbo engine.
