Neighbours viewers already know that Chloe (played by April Rose Pengilly) gets paid to run a dating service, but now it seems evident that Pierce (Tim Robards) will be her next client.
Chloe has caught the attention of the “charming” newcomer, but will be left wondering if she has been paid for sex by Pierce.
The pair were introduced to each other at Lassiters, where Chloe “instantly impressed” Pierce.
However, Chloe will shut Pierce down when he wants to take things further.
Normally, Chloe’s Cash For Company business doesn’t involve physical contact, but Pierce seems to have got his way.
Chloe will be tempted by his money, but rejects his offers in the end.
Just days later, Chloe will help Pierce organise a wine-tasting event and gives him a hug, but the pair soon jump into bed together.
He then delivers an expensive necklace and bottle of wine to her. Does this count as a transaction?
Chloe had initially believed they had slept together “for fun”, but Pierce’s delivery seems like a payment.
This will prompt her to urgently seem Elly Conway’s (Jodi Anasta) advice to clear up the situation.
She will suggest to Chloe about setting up ground rules, but will she heed Elly’s advice?
It comes after the hotel staff were instructed to be on their best behaviour for Pierce’s arrival.
The staff have been warned that Pierce could offer them a lucrative contract which would secure their jobs in the long run.
Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) personally warned Chloe that Pierce should not find out about her dating service in case it loses them the contract.
Pierce could potentially be “morally opposed” to her paid service, meaning it would be “crucial” for Pierce to not find out.
However, in a Neighbours twist, Pierce found one of Chloe’s business cards lying around.
Much to Leo’s horror, Pierce approached Chloe about it after finding out, believing her to be the mastermind behind the idea.
Chloe was left distraught, fearing she had ruined everything to do with the business contract with Lassiters.
The character was then seen to beg Pierce not to let her business cards affect his thoughts about the company.
In an unexpected storyline and to Chloe’s surprise, Pierce actually wanted to book a date himself.
Neighbours airs on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
