Neighbours is currently witnessing the return of Andrea Somers (played by Madeleine West) – or Fake Dee.
The mystery blonde has never strayed far from Erinsborough, and has always been a thorn in Toadie Rebecchi’s (Ryan Moloney) side.
With her real identity still a mystery, “Andrea” set about exacting her revenge on Toadie and his family.
She first claimed to have given birth to Toadie’s son, something which was proven to be true.
But “Andrea” is currently in a psychiatric facility and seems to be coping with her ongoing obsessions with Toadie.
Yesterday, the regular Neighbours face went so far as to claim she would be going on a hunger strike until she gets what she wants.
Toadie told concerned wife Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey): “Andrea is begging to see me and she refuses to eat until I come.
“If worst comes to worse, they can put a drip in and force-feed her, but the doctor thought it might be helpful if I spoke to her on the phone.”
He added: “I told [the doctor] that we were happy to pay for her continuing treatment, but there is to be no more communication.”
But while the scenes were ongoing, fans found themselves distracted by Toadie’s hair.
An apparent continuity error was spotted as the stalwart Ramsay Street resident seemed to experience a sudden growth spurt.
While based in Erinsborough earlier this week, Toadie could be seen sporting a freshly-shaved hair cut.
But when he arrived in the psychiatric unit to visit “Andrea”, his hair was noticeably longer.
nothing gets past Neighbours fans, as they flocked to Twitter to comment on the miraculous growth.
One said: “Wait a minute…How can Toadie’s hair be shorter in the hospital, wow that’s some growth spurt!”
Another added: “Toadie’s hair was longer than that yesterday.”
A third wrote: “You gotta love a bit of continuity issues with haircuts – see Toadie in today’s #Neighbours.”
Fans are desperate to know whether “Andrea” is the real one, or if she is Fake Dee.
Toadie looks set to confront Sindi Watts (Marisa Warrington) over “Andrea’s” “truth or dare” remark.
Neighbours airs weekdays on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and is repeated at 5.30pm.
