Melania Trump has tweeted her support for those affected by the Barcelona terror attack tonight.
She took to her personal account to write: “Thoughts and prayers to #Barcelona”
It comes after her previous tweet regarding the Charlottesville attack in America.
She also posted: “Our country encourages freedom of speech, but let’s communicate w/o hate in our hearts. No good comes from violence. #Charlottesville”
The First Lady is not a frequent user of the social media website, and rarely posts her own opinions on her FLOTUS account.
The 47-year-old mainly uses it for her business ventures and appearances.
This is unlike her husband who regularly comes under fire for the content he regularly tweets.
He has come under fire for his previous comments regarding terrorist situations around the world.
Her husband Donald Trump, President of the United States issued a comment on the attack in the busy Spanish city.
He tweeted: “The United States condemns the terror attack in Barcelona, Spain, and will do whatever is necessary to help.
“Be tough & strong, we love you!”
The President has was condemned for not speaking out quickly enough regarding the Charlottesville protests.
The recent terror attack in Barcelona has shocked the world with many others tweeting their solidarity with the victims and those affected.
A van drove through the busy Las Ramblas street, with two reported dead and over thirty injured.
That number is expected to rise.
It is the first terrorist attack in Spain in over thirteen years, since the Madrid train bombings in 2004.
