Love Island 2019: ‘What the f**k?’ ITV2 viewers baffled over last minute format change

Love Island fans are gearing up for the last couple of episodes of the 2019 series.

Tonight’s show started but it seemed it was a very quiet affair.

Voiceover artist, Iain Stirling, usually gives a round-up of the previous night’s action, making sure fans are ready for the new instalment.

But in tonight’s episode, Iain’s recognisable Scottish tones were missing.

Instead, Anna Vakili, Jordan Hames, Chris Taylor and Harley Brash’s dumping was shown over delicate music.

The teaser for this evening was added with just a small tune playing in the background.

However, viewers weren’t happy as they flocked to Twitter in outrage over the format change so late in the day.

One said: What the f**k is this Coronation Street opening? I want to hear Iain Stirling say “tonight” #LoveIsland.”

A second added: “Is Iain Stirling not here or?”

A third posted: “Has Iain Stirling lost his voice tonight or something?”

A fourth commented: “Where’s Iain Stirling’s voice #loveisland.”

I just know from this intro this episode of love island is gonna be so s**t,” said a fifth.

Meanwhile, tonight’s episode showed more drama for Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard.

The pair got into bed after a tough double-dumping, and it seemed she was ready for some TLC.

However, Curtis admitted he was “too tired” for any funny business, but his girl was furious.

What’s more, Maura wasn’t going to let it go as she went straight to the girls to discuss how her needs were unfulfilled.
