However, they’ve faced their toughest challenge yet this week on Love Island.
The pair have been separated from one another with Jack being packed off to Casa Amor.
He came face-to-face with his ex girlfriend Ellie Jones, who confessed to still having a “soft spot” for the pen salesman.
Meanwhile, Dani has welcomed six new boys into the main villa.
But while the newcomers try to tempt them, the pair seem keen to stay faithful to one another.
In tonight’s episode, Jack was seen sleeping outside on his own.
He told viewers at home that he was missing Dani and hated being separated from her.
Those tuning into Love Island were quick to question why they were so worried.
Many pointed out that they all have mobile phones and asked why they weren’t texting.
Taking to Twitter to comment on the flaw, one fan asked: “Can’t the original boys and girls text each other when they are in different villas?”
“Wait… they all have phones… so they can text each other?” another queried.
“Why are Jack and Dani having separation anxiety?”
It’s not surprising that fans wanted to know why the pair hadn’t been messaging each other.
The islanders have mobile which they receive texts on to inform them of tasks and challenges.
The original islanders can text each other individually or in a group.
However, they can not use the devices to make contact with the outside world.
It was recently revealed that the islanders are banned from knowing details of the World Cup.
Football fans in the villa have been kept in the dark over the progress of the England team.
Love Island continues Sunday on ITV at 9pm.
