Coleen Nolan, 52, and Saira Khan, 47, said that they would “definitely give it a go”, whereas Stacey Solomon, 27, and Christine Lampard, 38, were less than impressed.
Despite some viewers seeing the funny side though, others found the whole thing rather nauseating.
Coleen explained, when asked if she would be up for giving Gabriel a try: “I’d definitely give it a go!” after she joked that she would “design Harmony badly on purpose to make herself look better” to her other half.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner did add, though: “Do you charge them up? What if you’re half way through and the batteries run out. [You’d have to] go to A&E with their arms around you…”
Saira also asked: “How is it different to a vibrator?” and went on: “Don’t knock it till you try it, I just think life is for living. I wouldn’t mind giving Harmony a go [either] she’s not bad is she?”
Fans of the ITV show immediately took to Twitter to voice their opinions, with one person squirming: “Omg loose women have lost the plot having sex with robots wtf who would do that (sic)”
“Watching the Loose Women get their f*****s aflutter over a sex robot has brought my lunch back up,” a second moaned.
A third said, alongside a crying face emoji: “Just come home on my dinner to Loose women talking about having sex with robots, no wonder it’s call loose women.”
“@IamSairaKhan is your poor suffering husband watching going ‘Oh No’ @loosewomen #LooseWomen,” a further person pointed out.
Despite the negative comments though, others said that they found the debate hilarious.
One person squealed: “Absolutely howling at Coleen. She’s hilarious!!!” while a second laughed: “@loosewomen completely crying watching the robot sex @NolanColeen finishes me off #Gabriel #SexBot. Do report back Coleen.”
Yet another shared: “OMG @loosewomen What is going on? Hysterically laughing #robot.”
