Lindsay Lohan’s DRAMATIC transformation: From plastic surgery to studying the Quran

Lindsay Lohan, 30, made her motion picture debut in Disney’s remake of The Parent Trap in 1998, which propelled her to stardom.

But following a string of rumoured plastic surgery procedures, a run in with the law and years on the party scene, Lindsay now appears a completely new woman.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, the star was hounded by presenter Piers Morgan about her past partying behaviour.

He said: “You’re only 30. I sometimes think, ‘how do they pack in all this mayhem?’”

But Lindsay’s LA party lifestyle seems long behind her now, as she shot back saying: “People really like to harp on about the past – I was just saying to you, that was over 10 years ago.”

In 2007, Lindsay was arrested multiple times for driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of cocaine.

And alongside a stint behind bars and in rehab during that time, Lindsay also hit the headlines for her changing face.

Three years ago the star was spotted leaving the Beauty Park Spa in Malibu, which is famed for promoting Botox and facial fillers. Although the star has never directly admitted to having work done.

Dr Dev Patel, the medical director of Perfect Skin Solutions in Portsmouth, is an expert in injectable treatments such as dermal fillers, and commented on the surgical procedures he believes Lindsay has undergone over the years.

He has never worked on or with Lindsay directly.

Dr Dev told Express.co.uk: “After Lindsay’s appearance on Good Morning Britain today it’s fair to say she’s likely undergone facial aesthetic treatments.

“In the past she’s appeared to have significantly overfilled her upper face, but at the moment it appears she’s focusing on her cheeks and lower face.

“It looks like she’s had nasolabial fillers and a little too much volume added to her cheeks and with previously nice natural contours could be why her face doesn’t look entirely natural anymore.

“Her lips also look a little overfilled, distorting her natural lip line.

“Lindsay could benefit from reducing the amount of filler used during her top up treatments.”

During her interview with Piers and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, the American actress revealed when she thought her life took a turn for the better.

She said: “I think really when I turned 30, because I’d always aspired for this, when I turned 30 that that would be the defining moment of what I want to do with my life.

“I found a lot of solace in my life and  a lot of peace, I reached inside and found what I wontedly intentions to be int he world and what really thrives me – helping other people and focusing on taking control of what I want out of life.”

Fans have been questioning her new look on social media. Jeff Petruccie tweeted: “Just saw Lindsay Lohan on TV. My gosh the poor girls face looks terrible. Why so much plastic surgery at such a young age?”

Another added: “WAKE UP @lindsaylohan… Stop #plasticsurgery”

There has been speculation that Lindsay is currently converting to Islam, and she also addressed these rumours on the show.

She said: “I think that me studying the Quran is something I found solace in. You can’t just convert to a religion overnight. I just study it, nothing is confirmed yet.

“Religion is a personal belief, my sister’s a Buddhist. I don’t want to speak on something I haven’t finished yet. I find solace in studying not just the Quran but meditation.”

Talking about her choice to wear a headscarf through an airport recently, Lindsay said: “I was doing it because I was leaving Turkey and out of respect for certain countries I go to when I see certain people I feel comfortable acting the same as other women. That’s just a personal respect issue for me.”

Michelle Keegan is another star to spark plastic surgery rumours, as her look has changed drastically since her soap opera days.
