Lewis Hamilton reveals Nascar hopes and plans to star in Talladega Nights 2
The Mercedes driver recently secured his fourth World Drivers’ Championship title in Formula One with two races to spare.
Lewis Hamilton has made no secret of his plans to do things beyond F1 in the future.
And his latest revelation has seen him admit the possibility of competing in Nascar for Puma as well as starring in film Talladega Nights 2.
The first Talladega Nights movie starring Will Ferrell was a huge hit when it hit cinema screens in 2006, although it remain unclear if a sequel is on the cards.
However, Hamilton is keen to play a starring role in any future films involving Nascar.
Asked if he would consider making an appearance in Nascar Hamilton, who recently became an ambassador of Puma, told GQ magazine: “I’m fully committed to F1 at the moment, but I think at some point in the future I might do, like, a guest appearance.
“But if Puma did it, I think it would look sick.
“We could make it look so cool. So, yeah, I can’t rule it out at the moment.
“I also just want to make an appearance in Talladega Nights 2, and I think I’d have to be in Nascar for that.”
Hamilton has previously played a cameo role in Zoolander 2 and has also done the voices for Disney films Cars 2 and Cars 3.
For now though, Hamilton will be focused on securing one final race win when the F1 season concludes in Abu Dhabi later this month.
