The royal chooses to drink a very particular alcoholic drink when abroad.
Kate’s favourite alcoholic drink is red wine, which she admitted during their Canadian tour in 2016.
The royal couple headed to Mission Hill Winery, where they sampled some of the best alcohols on offer.
They admitted they “really enjoyed the Oculus” according to Graham Nordin, director of wine experience at Mission Hill Winery.
They explained that they were Merlot drinkers usually, meaning they often opt for a red wine when travelling.
One thing the royals do not appear to be a fan of is beer, despite often trying it during visits.
Kate tried the local Heidelberg beer in Poland, as well as a pint of Guinness during St Patrick Day.
A source told the Mirror: “Neither Kate nor William is a big beer drinker.”
Royal Prince Philip is a beer drinker, however, choosing Boddingtons.
Other members of the Royal Family also like to engage in a tipple.

Queen Elizabeth opts for a gin and tonic with Dubonnet and a lemon slice.
Her son, Prince Charles goes one further and takes his own alcohol with the Duchess of Cornwall when they travel.
To avoid their drinks being spiked, they carry it with them in their luggage abroad.
Prince Harry is rumoured to have given up alcohol in recent months.
This is in solidarity with his wife Meghan who is currently pregnant.
