Kate Middleton and Prince William spent half term doing this with George and Charlotte

Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William have spent the past week relaxing with their children like many parents on half term.

The family of five spent time at their country house over the weekend, it is believed.

However, the royals are back in London today.

Their two oldest children are heading back to school after the excitement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.

Prince George, four, attends Thomas’s Battersea school and Princess Charlotte, three, goes to Willcocks Nursery School.

However, the family spent the break from schooling in Norfolk.

According to reports the family, which has a brand new addition in Prince Louis, who is only month old, spent time at Anmer Hall.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted at the Houghton Horse Trials last week with George and Charlotte.

The equestrian event is held only 10 minutes away from Anmer Hall by car, at Houghton Hall.

An international event, the day sees horse fans compete in events such as show jumping and cross country.

Kate Middleton wore a Zara dress on the day which cost only £39.99.

She added a tote bag worth £100 from Little Makes Big and £150 Catherine Zoraida leaf earrings.

Princess Charlotte wore a pink dress and munched on an ice cream while George wore a green polo neck t-shirt and khaki shorts.

Anmer Hall in Norfolk was give to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge by the Queen as wedding gift.

The 18th century house is on the Sandringham Estate, where the Queen likes to spend Christmas.

It has a whopping 10 bedrooms and was recently renovated to the tune of £1.5 million.

This renovation included the addition of a conservatory.

The half term will have given the family some time to relax after the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, in which both George and Charlotte played a role.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, will join the rest of the Royal Family for a public engagement in the coming week, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte are likely to be there too.

The Duchess of Cambridge will join the Queen at Trooping the Colour, which marks the official birthday of the Her Majesty.

Trooping the Colour is a formal affair, with the men of the Royal Family in military dress.
