And despite being married for seven years, it seems the couple are still in the first flush of love.
Body language expert Judi James has analysed a sweet moment between the couple for Express.co.uk.
Surprisingly, even newlyweds Meghan Markle, 37, and Prince Harry, 33, could not beat their displays of love.
Judi said: “It’s normally touch and PDA -free body language rituals from William and Kate but they managed to outdo Harry and Meghan here as Kate reached across to place a hand on the arm of her husbands chair and he put his own hand over it in a very romantic gesture.
“Their smiles together have changed and their affection and love signals are much more intense and open than ever before suggesting the birth of their third child has somehow thrown them back into the honeymoon stage of their relationship.”
Kate wore an Alexander McQueen berry red dress and Phiip Treacy fascinator for the day, with William in a classic morning suit.
Their appearance at the wedding today is their second public outfit of the week, with the couple heading out for a mental health summit in London on Tuesday.
And it seems it isn’t just the wedding today that has seen the couple showing their close bond in public, with the royals unable to hide their affection at the summit either.
According to Judi, Kate and William’s body language interactions with each other are different to before the birth of Louis.
Judi reveals: “There seems to have been some intrinsic changes in the body language of Kate and husband William since the birth of their third child.
“Kate seems to have increased in confidence here at their first public outing together since the birth and William is unusually tactile, flashing some sweet “pinging” smiles at his wife to suggest he’s incredibly pleased to have her back at his side.”
Kate’s second engagement since returning to work, she wore a stunning lilac Emilia Wickstead dress that she had worn before.
Discussing the couple’s body language, Judi added: “Kate positively strides from the car and her torso and arm movements tell a similar story of confidence and energy.”
While all eyes were on Kate and William’s displays of love today, Meghan and Harry also looked very happy to be returning to the site of their wedding back in May.
Meghan wore a Givenchy coat which had a funnel neck, and she wore it buttoned at the top so that it covered the outfit underneath.
On her head was a simple fascinator by Noel Stewart, an East London based milliner.
Underneath her coat, a dark dress could just be seen, and Meghan carried a red clutch in one hand.
Meghan wore her hair in a low bun, with loose tendrils framing her face.
